Michelle Freed, FNP-C
Family Nurse Practitioner in Danville, CA
About
I am honored to provide medical care to my hometown community. After growing up in Danville, I attended Saint Mary’s College of California for my bachelor’s degree and Samuel Merritt University for my master’s degree. Before becoming a nurse practitioner, I spent 15 years as a scientist in molecular research and diagnostics development with a focus on oncology, rare mutations diseases, and infectious diseases. My transition from scientist to nurse practitioner was prompted by a lifelong desire to provide direct patient care. My professional goal is to provide safe and effective care, establish healthy and trusting patient relationships, supply evidence-based patient education, and contribute to research, policy, and community-driven health initiatives. In my spare time, I enjoy spending time with my family, playing soccer, snow skiing, singing in an adult chamber choir, gardening, and traveling.
